Farhat Zakir Naik ‒ A Brief Introduction

Mrs Farhat Naik, wife of Dr Zakir Naik — the internationally renowned orator on Islaam and Comparative Religion — is herself an acclaimed Da’ee and propagator of Islaam amongst women. She is 58 years old.

A mother of three and an active advocate of women’s empowerment from an Islaamic perspective, Mrs Farhat Naik has delivered several hundred public talks in English and Urdu exclusively for women, and has had lecture tours in the USA, Canada, UK, Italy, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Nigeria, South Africa, Botswana, Gambia, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Australia, Trinidad, Mauritius, Maldives, and many other countries, besides delivering lectures in India.

Mrs Farhat Naik has done her Masters in Commerce from the University of Poona, India. She is a former lecturer at Poona College, as well as the former Principal of the Islamic International School, Mumbai, where she also served as an Islaamic trainer for teachers, parents and students.

At present, Mrs Naik is occupied in Islaamic Da’wah activities. She is a strong believer in education for both the worlds: Dunya and Aakhirah. Through her work, she emphasizes on the importance of a worldly education infused with the Islaamic spirit for the Muslim youth.

Mrs Naik has inculcated an Islaamic perspective in modern primary and secondary education.
